Cynthia Rauschert has been a professional circus artist and educator since 2003, and in 2007 founded Circus Moves. In 2021 she completed a master’s degree in recreational therapy at Southern Connecticut State University and now includes professional development training for youth program staff in her repertoire of services. Circus has had a profound impact on Cynthia's life and because of this she is a staunch advocate for the transformational power of circus arts on individuals and communities. Cynthia is cochair of the American Circus Educators Association Social Circus Committee and serves on the Young and Emerging Artist advisory committee for the American Circus Alliance. Cynthia has brought coaching, performing, and public speaking programs everywhere from birthday parties to board rooms in eighteen states, five countries, three continents, and on one great big ship.
